Key Components:
- Coffee Grounds: High in nitrogen, they slowly release essential nutrients like magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, and copper into the soil.
- Banana Peel: Rich in potassium, calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus, banana peels bolster plant strength and pest resistance, while energizing blooms. For quicker seedling growth, soak two peels in a liter of water for two days, then use it for watering.
- Eggshell: A great source of calcium, eggshells not only nourish tomatoes, peppers, and eggplants but also help protect flowers from rot and are beneficial for composting.
Preparation:
- Thoroughly wash and optionally heat the eggshells in the oven or microwave to eliminate bacteria and salmonella
- Finely chop the banana peels.
- Combine eggshells, banana peels, and coffee grounds in a blender.
- Add a bit of water and blend lightly.
- Transfer the mix to a storage container, add the remaining water, and allow it to ferment for two days.
Usage: Apply the fertilizer every 15 days, ideally just before and during the flowering period, and store it in the refrigerator.
